Summer BBQ

Republican women and their spouses were invited to a garden picnic this week. Penny and Pam opened up their home and beautiful backyard. A variety of meats, salads,vegetables, fruit and desserts were supplied by GOP women. Del Ulreich gladly pitched to help with the grilling. New club members were welcomed and upcoming events were announced. We enjoyed great food and fellowship!

In Solidarity

Great Britain, our closest ally was attacked by terrorist bombs today. Our hearts and prayers go out to victims, their families and all the British people.

Celebrating Freedom

Ruth O'Connell and Joanne Schultz walked in the annual July 4th parade in Arlington Heights along with other faithful township Republicans.

Republican Women Support the Troops

Our club participated in this year's We-Do-Care Freedom Festival by coordinating the signing of a banner expressing thanks and support for our troops. The banner (pictured behind) will be delivered to A/133 Signal Batallion who just entered Camp Stryker at the Baghdad airport.

Lincoln Legacy Lives On

On June 24th we joined the Maine Township Republican Women's club for a day-long trip to Springfield to tour the new Abraham Lincoln Memorial Library and Museum.
