Club member Pam Reed has announced the release of this newly published book. A year ago Pam was so moved by the Katrina disaster, she and her sister Penny were prompted to travel to the stricken area. While there, they connected with Trinity Church in Covington, Louisiana. After returning home Pam continued to stay informed of progress via the church's website. Letters were being posted regularly by Pastor Michael Sprague, who reached out to his scattered flock, telling stories of the work being done by teams sent from all over the country by the Compassion Ministry of the Evangelical Free Church of America. Sensing that these stories needed to be more widely told, Pam put a book together in cooperation with the pastor.
